Service was fast and the cashier was friendly; HOWEVER, the boba/tea was absolutely disgusting. We got the strawberry horchata and peach/mango tea, took a couple of sips, and knew something was off. The tea did not taste right and boba/jelly was also unpleasant. Do not go there to drink boba, you have been warned.

respectfully y’all need to make all your teas half as sweet as they come normally and add more sweetener upon request, no sane person enjoys a drink as sweet as they have been the few times I’ve stopped by this location. (I’ve gotten the fruit teas) Advertise different sweetness levels please 🫶🏻

Gross. I got a few steps outside of the store and threw my drink right in the trash. I wish I had gone back in to ask for a refund tbh. Got the Thai tea with tapioca boba and I have never in my life had such a bad tasting Thai tea. The texture of the boba was also wrong. It had a bit more of a bite to it than any boba I’ve had before, almost like it was under done, and tasted earthy (for lack of a better word). Like coffee grinds almost. Also bought a three pack of the macrons and was very disappointed. I asked if they were made by the shop or bought premade, and the cashier told me they had a lady they buy them from. Hate to say it, but they would be better off with the frozen store bought ones. The three I had (that were served in a little ziplock dime bag for $9 and some change) were dry and not very flavorful. Save your money and go to the other macron shop in the mall. Overall I paid $18 and wish I hadn’t. I can understand why there are so many poor reviews and wish I had seen them before I wasted my money and time here.

I don’t think a low rating is fair for this spot: -Are they North Carolina nice? No, why? They’re busy with a long line of people wanting their boba tea -Are they the best spot in the world for boba? No, but they sure are a blessing when you want to browse around the stores with a nice sweet treat. -Is it cheap? No, but then again we didn’t pay a dime for covered parking at the mall. My brown sugar boba was great and that’s why ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cute Vibe, Total Sugar Bomb! 💣🧸 Bapu is such a cute spot! Love the plushies, the claw machine, and those adorable bear lids. The service was super fast with no wait at all. However, the drinks were a total sugar bomb! Both the Brown Sugar Boba and the Mangonada were way too sweet for us. Next time I’ll definitely ask for 50% sugar. Great for photos and a quick treat if you have a massive sweet tooth!
